After a long pause continue to write about young and talented fashion designers.
And here is Anna Kolesnikova.
She is just amazing! I do not know another person who can make a photo with Giorgio Armani simply walking in the street… Maybe it is a kind of a sign?...
She started sewing for her Barbey when she was 8. Anna created a full wardrobe for her doll and even participated in a number of competitions and presentations which were so popular at that time. In 3 years she began to make clothes for herself.
Anna also tried to work with clothes for men, but she is more inspirited by strong women, confidentially going forward. That’s why her current collections oriented to ladies.
She studies at Milano Politecnico and makes plans for the future. What kind of plans? Well, if Anna had an opportunity, she would definitely launch her own brand. Its idea and business plan are already developed, the only thin which is lack for its realization now is money.
It was interesting to ask Anna living in Milan about differences between fashion in Italy and Russia . She said the following:”There are two different clothes senses - Italian and Russian. Italian fashion can be characterized by monochromaticism, calm colours, abundance of brown, black, indigo. It is mostly classic or casual. Most popular materials are cotton, leather, wool. The Italians know how to combine separate garments and create a complete and elegant look.
The difference between these two styles is that the Russians more like bright colours, prints, decorations and details which originates from there Oriental traditions. And it is not surprise because we are both East Europe and Asia and our mentality is a mixture of European and oriental features. Russian ladies are more courageous in terms of showing their individual style and create their look more emotionally”.
Ok, hope, soon I will go there and see!
